Gill Corneal Knife

3.0 mm wide, 5-1/4″ (13.5 cm) Gill Corneal Knife is a commonly used blade in corneal surgeries. The blade may be used to scrape the anterior corneal surface to remove the epithelium, frequently done following a corneal lesion. With proper surgical technique, the knife may also be used to dissect the deeper layers of the cornea as needed. Both straight and curved models are available depending on surgical preference.
